The position of an operator relative to a machine is essential for a safe workplace. The Hetronic RF proximity detection module creates a zone in which the user is either allowed or not allowed to operate. The module measures the distance to the zone very accurately. This allows you to define the behavior of the Hetronic system based on the operator’s position relative to the machine. When the operator is at a safe distance, this is indicated in green on the transmitter. When the operator is in the red zone, the Hetronic system can respond by disabling certain functions or enforcing reduced operating speeds. There are many possibilities to configure the desired safety measures. You can set the zone from 0 to 10 meters. The module measures the distance to the zone with high precision.
To protect the user, certain functions can only be performed when the operator is at least 5 meters away from the machine.
If the operator is more than 10 meters away from the machine, all functions can only operate at half speed
When driving away, an alarm is triggered if the transmitter is not in the cabin, preventing the operator from forgetting it.
The interface is fully customized and programmed by Hetronic. In addition, you can program it yourself.
